It's funny how this all came about. I ran an ad for one of my Army/Navy style flat "Traveler" mandoilns in the Classifieds section at mandolincafe.com, and a guy that does instrument reviews for Vintage Guitar magazine got interested because I mentioned our Seafoam Green Traveler mandolin. I e-mailed him back and told him the only reason I had a Seafoam Green mandolin was because there was still som paint left in my gun after spraying that color on one one of my resophonic guittars. I asked him if he would be interested in reviewing both instruments, and the rest, as they say , is history.

Steve - Great article. I'd say you sure do seem to be going about this the right way. I'd be really surprised if your resos don't catch fire (not literally of course) and really take off soon. I, for one, would really like to get my hands on one some day. I have especially taken a liking to the way you've had them photographed like in your avatar and the image on the hangout you used for the contest. Very tasty lighting with rich color. It really brings out the quality of your construction. I was immediately drawn in by the photography alone!
