I bought this Dobro about 9 months ago gave up trying to play.Didnt know how much I missed got it back and Im keeping it. I think for the money the beard goldtone models are fantastic.I love my humble Regal.

Glad you're giving it another shot, it just gets easier and more fun with practice. The GT Beards are nice for the money, but so are a lot of black lightnings.

I am brand new to the reso also, been playing guitar for about 18 months also. Just bought a Black Lightning as my first reso and really like it so far

It was my first, 31/2 years ago. Im still playing it. I think for the money its a good instrument.
