a guy wants to trade me a sterling resonator with a national cone installed.i have never heard of sterling and cant find any info on the net.anyone know anything on sterling?

These are Chinese or Korean made instruments, similar to the Johnson and Regal resonator guitars. I have only played one a long time ago, and was unimpressed at the time. I am sure a National cone would make a difference in the overall sound. How much is he asking for the guitar? Do you have any photos?

he wants to trade me for a handgun i have $200 in.its in real nice shape with a hard shell case.there is some tarnish on the bride above the biscuit from sweat i guess.its a bell brass body.theres one on ebay just like it now.under sterling resophonic

very funny!!!!!!!!! im not like that though.i figuire a brass body chrome or nickel plated resonator with a national cone installed by a big name music store in this area in decent shape has to be worth more than $200

im in illinois and every elligible gun owner has to have a state approve Firearms Owner ID card or FOID which means they have passed a background check.so therefore you don't do any transaction with anyone that doesn't possess a valid foid card.pretty easy

well i got the reso today.its in excellent shape except for some discoloration on the saddle from persperation or oils from his hand resting on it. that the previous owner said he tried using a cleaner but couldnt get it to clean up.i'll post some pics tomorrow.any ideas??
