Ebay can be strange...I've seen many items go with no bids, or one low bid...then an identical item a few hours later has 12 bids! Both from sellers with high scores. I've missed a couple of those, and keep telling myself to "just put some bid in", but neglect to do so, then see the bad news when the auction ends.

I totaly agree.
Yesterday I saw a dobro with no bids and I thougt that people would start to bid the last hours but nothing happended. I couldnt bid because the only shipped to the states and I live in sweden

If I was interested I would send a message before the auction ended and ask if they would reconsider. They may be unfamiliar with the procedures for international shipping. Also if they do not have bids they may be more eager to make a sale.

I bought my Beard Vintage R on eBay. It was now old stock. The seller told ne they ahd listed it once before and got no bids. It was "buy it now" for $1250.

I just got a great deal on EBay.....50% of normal cost for a whole new setup. I think that just being in the right place at the right time has a lot to do with it.
