These are some of the finest business people that I have ever dealt with in my life. I just sent my Gold Tone for the installation of the Nashville Fishman Pickup. Their service was prompt, their work was professional, and their staff that I dealt with, Howard Parker, was very helpful and friendly. I will do business with them again. Thanks to all the folks at Beard.

I couldn't agree more, dwood1611! The folks at Beard have always exemplified the definition of "excellence" in my dealings with them. Not to mention that the custom resos the make are absolutely killer!

I spoke with Howard Parker when I was thinking about a Beard E. I stumbled on a deal on another Reso so I didn't get the E. But I was impressed with the fact that Howard Parker was so willing to take time out of his day to answer questions. I would not hesitate to buy from those folks if I had the money and opportunity.

I would be remiss if I didn't respond to this topic.
I have had several occasions to deal with Paul, Howard and Andy at Beard Guitars.
They are without a doubt a top notch shop and most definitely first class
people. If I ever need anything done on my MA6 that's where it's going.
I will most definitely buy my parts, strings, picks and cleaners from them.
Their prices are always a good and fair deal.![]()
I am sure that other Reso shops and people are comparible to Beards
but I have been very pleased with their personable service.
Plus my wife getting to meet and see Pauls sparkling blue eyes
allows me to
spend more money for goodies!$$$$$$$

Slideman says: Amen to all the above AND even if they WERE NOT friendly, helpful knowledgable, etc. they would still be the premier person on the East coast to do business on the basis on TECHNICAL INNOVATION and advancing the industry since 1986. Even if they were "Grumps" they would be better than some of their competitors. Examples: the unique Beard Dobro capo (1988), developing the special less breakage 3 rd string, innovating new coverplate designs, inventing new internal choices besides the traditional circular soundwell, pioneering the use of exotic and bookmatched woods on post-war models, developing one of the first retail catalogs ("Resophonic Outfitters") for the public to mail order buy on reso specific parts, sharing the knowledge with the reso community with instructional DVD's on non-playing subjects--like set up and adjustments, etc. etc. The list goes on. Even if they were NOT friendly, helpful, knowledgable, etc. you would still be doing business with them as recognized leaders who benefitted the industry with technical inventions and innovations.
