I need to know the string height (between the strings and fretboard) on newer style resos.
My idea is not going to work on older dobros and nationals with (old style) short nuts. But I think you guys with modern setups (taller nuts) would be very happy with my idea!
I am looking for how much room I have to work with, at least on the newer style of setups.

Normally you are talking about 3/8" over the fretboard at the nut. Phil

I would say it is, just remember 3/8" from the bottom of the strings. Phil
