I am involved in a very custom reso build that is going to require that the tuners not stick out the side like standard guitar tuners. I need tuners built lke banjo tuners, with the knobs going straight down but without that 4:1 ratio. Stewart Macdonald has some high dollar 40:1 vertical tuners but I know there are some more options out there. No luck with Janet Davis, Luthiers Mercantile, or Resophonic Outfitters. Any ideas for sources?
