This is my first effort at linking a You Tube video. I am playing a couple tunes on this "wonderful" Brazilian Rosewood Dobro, made by Raymond Fairchild. You can contact me and come and test drive it...here in Bethlehem, PA.....if you are interested.
As you no doubt know Brazilian Rosewood is an endangered species of wood and protected by Cites.
My understanding is Martin Guitar still has a couple Brazilian Rosewood front, backs and sides, to construct several D28 type of higher end models. https://www.martinguitar.com/guitars/discontinued-guitars/d-28-brazilian/
So this Fairchild Brazilian Rosewood Dobro is definitely a prize at $2,400.00 and investment for the future...even if you don't play Dobro!
