I don't know squat about this, other than I can tell that it certainly has not been abused, and certainly appears to have been very rarely and extremely gently played. I took it in on a trade years ago, and have stalled off liquidating it for an absurdly long amount of time.
I know ALL about brasswind and a LOT about woodwind instruments (and have a worldwide reputation regarding expertise in and repairs of wind instruments), but - even though I am a pretty good guitarist and bass guitarist, I just don't know much about collectable guitars, and I certainly don't know anything about lap/bottleneck guitars, and I certainly-CERTAINLY don't know anything about all-metal-body top-of-the-line vintage ones...
...but people have suggested that this price point is fair, so here we are. That having been written, I will respectfully consider serious offers.
You can check my honestly and forthrightness here. (I have no control over this webpage, and it is related to my business in selling repairing WIND instruments: citysearch.com/profile/9465065...usic.html ). Having four decades of experience refinishing brass/nickel silver and silver and nickel plating brass/nickel silver, I am very confident that (prior to handing this over to its new owner) I can gently polish the metal body to remove fingerprints and micro-scratches. There really aren't and actual scratches or chips in this instrument anywhere. Thanks very much for looking. Again, I own a brass/woodwind-related business (since 1979) and can email the buyer a secure link to pay with any of the four major credit cards, but USPS money orders would also be fine. Of course, I can send more pictures and have taken several more.

Returns accepted. Buyer must contact seller within 2 days to arrange return. Refund will be given as Money Back.
Buyer pays return shipping.
Additional return policy details: I would be most comfortable with someone inspecting in-person and then buying. This instrument won't disappoint, but returns are always a pain, and risk damage. Having experience packing $XX,XXX tubas (made of 1/2mm thick sheet brass), I can pack a guitar to avoid damage, but would dread shipping it.
