Nice 7 string Dobro. No pickup. You can do lots of cool stuff with this. Tune it to a G6th chord (GBDEGBD) and you easily get Hawaiian sounds as well as Western Swing. You can accurately reproduce Hank Williams steel intros and solos as well.
Keep it it G tuning with a low E on the bottom and you'll have rich full minor chords like Gregg Booth.
Add a high G note on top is another cool option.
