For sale is this one of a kind, custom resonator guitar by the late builder Frank D. Harlow. It is an extremely beautiful, one of a kind, presentation model. Sadly Frank Harlow, one of the great resonator guitar builders of our time is no longer with us.
It is superbly figured flamed maple with all hand engraved gold hardware. This is one of most ornate resonator guitars I have ever seen and in as near mint condition as it gets without still being in the box. It is hand built, hand inlayed, every piece of gold hardware is hand engraved by one of the most remarkable craftsmen of our time. It is complete trumped in beautiful abalone Pearl and 24K gold binding around the top and around the Peghead. A beautiful hand engraved Abalone Pearl tree of life vine up the Ebony fingerboard and abalone on the face of the Peghead.
This guitar even comes in a custom alligator hard case with custom plague designating this guitar as a Frank Harlow original Custom guitar.
It plays like a dream and sounds huge. It sounds as good as it looks. It has such a full, very rich, snappy tone with volume that the banjo player will hate.

I got this guitar because I played in a band close to 50 years with one of my best friends, Ferrell Stowe. Ferrell had many guitars over the years but when he got his Harlow it quickly became his favorite guitar. I was also acquainted with Gene Wooten who played his Harlow guitar (Goldie)for years. Frank Harlow was a remarkable builder who insisted on doing it by hand to perfection.
I am not a resonator guitar player and no longer need to be accumulating these beautiful instruments when they are intended to be played.
This is truly a premium instrument.
