I've just obtained a Anderwood AW-OMG solid mahogany weissenborn and I can see the strings need changing through lack of use. The previous owner left it unused in his front room.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for strings for this, or even has any experience playing one. It comes as standard with .013-.056 D'addarios, but they're not a make of string I particularly like. From initial playing I'd say the instrument could do with string that give it more volume and brightness.

Any help would be appreciated thanks
