I'm working on this Weissenborn rendition of a song I wrote last year.

I'm really loving this new tuning I've been playing in: EGDGBD (Em7). It turns out to be very flexible and versatile in several different keys.

	Bob Blair says: 3/7/2014 5:04:40 AM Cool - sounds great. Greg Booth does a lot of work with the 6th string on his dobro tuned down to E, so bottom to top EBDGBD. What are using for string gauges?
	fuller says: 3/7/2014 12:04:26 PM You know, I actually can't remember! They're one of the John Pearse sets -- either 3110 or 3140. The E is actually tuned UP in this case because I usually keep it down in D.
	Bob Blair says: 3/7/2014 8:39:49 PM Maybe I'll try it on one of my dobros first - I'm a little nervous about tuning up my weissenborns that far without giving some thought to string gauges. It does look really versatile.
