Okay, so you've been sitting on the porch making music with your Weissenborn copy. So how about recording what you've been playing so those of us without Weissenborns can salivate!?!?!?!

x says: 5/10/2011 9:12:55 AM Sorry. Yes. That's an inexpensive Ohana Weissenborn copy. It's vaguely mahogany laminate I think, with maple-like binding. It has become the instrument that sits out in the living room, ready to play. It's tuned to C6, EGACEG (lo to hi). There's a particular sparkle to it (if I keep fresh strings on it!), but doen't really have the depth and warmth of, say my Gold Tone (tuned low G).

The avatar picture is the only one of me working in the approximately 20 years I've been making furniture. I'll be sure and show the pictures of the finished product, though.
