Look for a used that maybe need some work. 3. Build my own. I have researched several kits, and numerous plans avable. I am cabinet maker by trade for some 40 years so woodwork is no problem. I have more tools than Home Depot. I have rebuilt several guitars over the years with great success. I have 6 pieces of solid stock walnut 3/4"x 36" x 4' in my shop now. Don't know if walnut will work for tone wood. Let's take a vote. Thanks and your suggestions will determine my choice. bluduc

Probably the best of them is the Gold Tone Solid Mahogany. 2) I have never seen a used that needed some work. 3) You are a cabinet maker by trade, why are we even discussing this. lmao You could give Rance White a call at Lazy River. He runs a deal once and a while where you can go there and learn by building one. He is in NC though but what I am getting at is if you need some advice he may be willing to work with you by phone.
