Thanks Mike; Just a Beginner guitar player with a desire for a Weissenborn. Been doodling around with a Rogue resonator converted to a lap guitar and really enjoying it.

So shopping around for a Weis led me here........

Still shopping but should be able to round something up real soon

Let us know your budget and we may be able to help. That's what we are here for.

Well If I go "Import" I would say the $500 range for a good used one. Perhaps a GT SM.

If a deal came up on a decent Lazy River or something similar I could probably scratch up $1000

Been looking around at plans also, really itchin to build one but I really need one to play for now...

Kool, I will keep my eyes open for you. I am know as Grizoogle on the Hangout. lmao Did you know Lance at Lazy river offers a course every so often in building. I don't know if it is something you would need or be interested in. I bet you could make one hell of a Reso for a whole lot less under Lances tutelage. If I were a younger man and in good health, I would be there with bells on. (not a pretty picture) Have you seen this on the Gold Tone Weissenborn. I promote American made but if necessary take a look youtube.com/watch?v=sp3BKW4xy2...lpp_video Tom is off the hook.

Yea Ive exchanged a couple of e-mails with Rance at Lazy River. Cant swing the time to take a class but he mentioned that he does put together kits from time to time so I may go that route when I get to building something.

That dude Tom on the GT is awesome. Gold Tone even has his videos linked on their website.

I sincerely hope they are giving Tom something for his "endorsement" Tom is an outstanding musician and human being. Now there is a role model. I use another of his videos when I hear people say "I can't" BS YES you CAN !!!!! The old adage "where there is a will, there is a way" couldn't be more spot on. The only thing stopping you is YOU. Well the leg just broke on my soap box so I will shut up. (for now) lmao
