Anyone here every played a Tim Kill weissie? I drawn to the detail and work he puts into them. I would really like to have the dinero to buy and compare it to a bear creek or similar quality instrument. The price is inline with other makes of that same quality.

In my googling, I found that he makes 12 string weissies, this is an interesting concept, but I wonder just how well a 12 string weissie would work. Does the slide touch the smaller sympathetic strings?

Too expensive at the moment, though! I found an interesting alternative, though more to the electric side than I would like. Not the same thing at all, but still... I would be most interested to hear it. Funny with all the tone woods he mentions there is no mention of the original material that all Wessies were made of and that is Koa.
