I continue to research the history of Hermann and his instruments, and I have a five-page manuscript that I would be happy to share with members here. Free for the asking via email! My intention is to expand the manuscript into a book, and I keep editing it as new facts are unearthed, or in many cases, as dots are connected. Only problem with publishing a book is that it takes time, and I am running out of that at age 74 and major health problems.

Want to know who the original partners in Weissenborn Company Limited were? Want to know who was the man behind all the koa wood that went into Weissenborn guitars? Want to know how the guitars evolved and how to tell them apart? Want to know exactly when the Stadlmair distributorship was in force? Want to know about Hermann's family in Germany and about his second wife that he married in 1915?
