Liz invited me to join, so it's all her fault!

I'm not really a Weissenborn player. I'm a wannabee player. I started building a weiss this spring and here's how far I got.

It's an all koa body with Mexican Bocote peghead overlay, fingerboard and bridge.

I'm easily distracted, so I started working on a Beard round neck reso kit and the weiss got left behind. Plus making a bunch of banjo rims, that I actually make money from. Then there's playing tennis, raking leaves, fixing my truck and other non weiss building activitities. Did I mention that I was easily distracted?

The Beard kit reso will be ready soon for some finish, so then I'll stop and get the weiss bound and fingerboarded, Then I can brush on some waterbased lacquer on both guitars. Then maybe I can start learning how to play the weissenborn.
