Welcome to the group bahiton. I'm listening to your latest Hilt Park post as I'm typing this. That's some fine playing and singing. Make yourself at home here and tell us how you came to the Weissenborn.

When I started researching and looking on YouTube, i found a video of Ed Gerhard playing a Weiss, and was immediately hooked. I currently have a Chinese Weiss, but I'm hoping to step into a Bear Creek, or a Fern next year. Here's a video of my other band, The Digbees, with me on the Weiss. youtube.com/watch?v=cbk0YvLt4sM
	Liz Williams says: 12/15/2012 11:37:57 PM I love my Bear Creek Weissenborn. Ed Gerhard is a favorite too - one of his CDs is always playing in my house or car. I wonder how many people he has gotten hooked on the Weissenborn. Thomas Oliver's "The Moment" is another one that captures that haunting Weissie sound. Your Chinese Weiss sounds good to my ears, and that song packs a punch. It really captures the in and out quality of someone with Alzheimers. Thank you for posting the link and again, welcome!
	bahilton says: 12/16/2012 4:10:09 AM I'm a HUGE Thomas Oliver fan as well. Anxiously awaiting his release of Weissenborn instrumentals. "The Moment" is a really special track, I think it will become a benchmark among Weiss players, if it hasn't already.
