	Tom_Noe says: 6/16/2013 7:14:26 AM What you folks don't realize is that the guitar is an ultra-rare Style 1 solid-neck in restorable condition! I have only seen these models with solid necks in Style 3 and Style 4, so this one Is one-of-a--kind! Fewer than a dozen or so of the solid necks exist.

	Tom_Noe says: 6/16/2013 9:13:25 AM Briefly, HW got a huge contract to build Konas for Charles De Lano in 1916 and moved his shop to a larger building at 331 E. 12th Street in Los Angeles. All the solid necks, which were refinements of Knutsen solid necks, were built there between 1916 and 1921. I believe the solid necks were offered to De Lano as an alternative to the difficult-to-build and time consuming Konas. And yes, I bought this one and you will see it restored!
