Thirty plus years in the architectural woodworking/ cabinetmaking business has evolved into guitar building the last several years. As a dobro and Weissenborn player, it was natural for me to concentrate on building those particular style guitars. Artistic details combined with new design features result in guitars that vary somewhat from the norm. A short scale dobro (24.25") with a proportionally smaller body than the L or E body sizes has had great results in tone and volume. The Weissenborn style acoustic guitars of varied solid woods and string configurations, custom bracing system, and internal design, all lend itself to a quality sounding instrument at a reasonable price. Also added to the line of guitars are acoustic steel guitars using standard guitar body designs. Examples include a squareneck model using a Duolian shaped body and a Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe inspired lap guitar with the original heavy V-neck design.
