Don Fitzwater brings an eclectic blend of acoustic music to the stage featuring offerings from traditional folk and roots music to the work of contemporary singer-songwriters in addition to his own compositions. Don first started playing guitar and keyboards back in High School. He gigged around the midwest in assorted R&B bands as well as playing music in the Wisconsin-based acoustic music duo known as "Woodenships" in the early seventies. He then relocated to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN) where he worked in professional theater for a decade and a half. Followed by more than a decade working in the computer industry as a systems analyst and consultant. Now he's back to his music and loving it! His style is very eclectic and includes elements from folk, acoustic rock, blues, calypso, country and Tin Pan Alley novelty songs. Besides playing solo he also plays keyboards with the Twin Cities Band "Bob Nordquist & The Intangibles"
