I bought this metal Dobro from a friend a few months ago and not for sure what I have and what it's worth. The serial number on the top of the head stock is B 356 8. I THINK it is a 1978, but other places I see looks like to be from 1988. It is in GREAT shape with a round neck. It has a minimal amount of "pocks" on the cone cover and a few pick marks but other than that it is pretty pristine. It has a case that is in great shape too. There was a nut included to raise the strings to play with a slide. I fell in love with it when I saw it and just had to have it. I've played guitar since the early 70s but have no clue when it comes to this Dobro. Playing it as a guitar, but the fact it can be set up to play with a slide is very cool. Any thoughts on it would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Paul

I've been playing on stage since I was 7. Started with family group joining my first band at 14. I've been in a band almost the entire time since (I'm 40 something now). Play Gordon enjoyment, and make some pretty good music I think in the process.
