I am a banjo player (at least I like to think I am) and love the sound of bluegrass dobro! I would like to get started and know NOTHING about purchasing one or where to start taking lessons. Any help would be appreciated. I don't really have a spending limit within reason, but would rather purchase a good instrument that holds it's value as opposed to an inexpensive one that will be hard to sell if it doesn't work out. Should it be wood or metal? Brand? Square neck or round? Thanks for any help anyone can offer. I'm all ears!
