Well, since I've been on here and kinda getting to know a few of ya, I though I'd let you all in on a little secret. My wife and I made a bet on New Year's Day. If I can go a whole year without an alcoholic beverage (which I haven't had a drink since Nov. 23rd), I can get me the musical instrument of my choice, and not a cheapy! If not, she gets her a purdy new diamond ring. Now I've only been playing for a few months now on my cheap ol' Hounddog dobro (and loving every minute of it by the way), but reading different posts on different forums has got me itchin' already for a new reso. Now I only have to wait about 11 more months! And I'll tell you something else, this is one bet I'm not gonna lose!!!
