Born in 1953; took piano at age 8; started violin at age 10 and played for 6 years of public school; took up electric guitar at age 11; took up banjo at age 18; began playing reso guitar at age 28and it has been my main instrument since. I play in a bluegrass band called NO LIMIT and a old style rock/country band called PRAIRIE FIRE. I give guitar, mandolin and reso guitar lessons during the week.
