Hello Everyone, Just got my first resonator, and a little disappointed. At first it was awful. Buzzing and more Buzzing. So I took it apart, cleaned it all, found out the cone was screwed to the guitar. Sanded the spider flat, the treble bridge was tight but the bass side was loose so I put alittle piece of sandpaper in to tighten it. Put it all back together and it sounds pretty good. If I loosen or tighten the spider\cone adj. screw I get a buzz. Anyway, only by looking at this site was I able to do what I did, thanks. In the future I'm sure I'd like to get a new cone, spider and bridge, and a pickup. Any suggestions would be helpful. Maybe a Lace pickup. Hit me up and thanks again.
