I just found out about this place from the Martin Forum. Since the Dobro is my second most used instrument, I figured I'd better come over and say hello.
Currently, I have a 2004 Dobro Model 27 Deluxe and and 1987 Dobro 60D, both with Beard/Fishman pickups. I also have an MSA Semi-Classic pedal steel that I fart around with occasionally.
Mainly I'm a singer and the guitars and other things are there for support.
Looking forward to reading and learning here!
Dave (Kentucky Dave, although my home has been in Northern California for about half my life now)

David Alan Trabue is a singer's singer who loves harmonies mixed with a solid acoustic instrument backing. Dave grew up singing and playing guitar in the music-rich state of Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, where many artists began and/or passed through in his and their early years. He has been bringing his gifted blend of Americana, Newgrass and Country flavorings of music to audiences for over three decades. His travels took him from the riverfront music bars along the Ohio River to the folk houses of Chicago and back, before making Northern California a musical home for many years. Along the way the guitar was joined by Dobro, pedal steel and mandolin for use in his music and that of others in live and recording settings. For the past decade the eclectic music scene of the San Francisco Bay area has been both beneficial to and benefited from Dave and his singing and multi-instrumental accompaniment.
