I have been working with US Steel for 16 years, prior to my Job at US Steel I worked out of the Operating Engineers Local #18 I got my first banjo in 1979 I was 9 years old, 1 year later I got a conversion banjo, and after a severe hand injury in 1988 I sold it, and would come to regret that as I learned more about banjos. I lost the use of my left middle finger, rendering any up the work impossible. I began playing rhythm guitar. I eventually got another banjo and worked around my disability, then in 2005 through modern medical tech, and one if the best hand surgeons in the country. I got the use of my finger back !!!! I still had a bad wrist, but tgat would be corrected 5 years later, so now. I hold on to steel without effort. Im very lucky to have been disabled musically for 15+ years then fixed!!! I have a background in Machining, and Mechanical I own and Operate a custom gun shop, not a Gun Shop as in a store I work on firearms, build firearms I pretty much stick to restoring, and refinishing firearms. Hot Blue, Nitre Blue, Dura Coat, Parkerizing, Color case hardening. I also make grips of all kinds, Custom rifle and shotgun stocks I own a 3d duplicator I can replicate old stocks. I have found that the Duplicator is great for making Banjo and Guitar necks.
