Originally recorded bu Judy Collins later by Sinatra and others....I believe Jeff Newman and Mike Auldridge recorded it back in the 70's

I had uploaded this tune a couple years ago, played entirely different with an altered G tuning....low E. This version is played in the basic open G tuning.

Traditional Steel Guitar Tune...Recorded by Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant Since I am an old steel guitar player...most of my Dobro music leans in the direction of a Steel Guitar. I believe Cindy Cashdollar also recorded this tune. Let me know if any of you folks also have a redition of Speedin' West.

Just got this Rogue $51.00 Lap Steel last month. Put a straight A tuning on it. This is a 6 string lap steel. The am being used is a Washburn SX 30R. Added the second track with me playing rhythm on a 00018 Martin. You Dobro "cats" should give one of these low end lap steels a try.

My experiment with the a D tuning on a Fairchild Quilted Maple Dobro and my first try at singing this as well. I am going to try to teach myself more tunes using this tuning. Friends Dennis and Jack play in this tuning and I never considered it before now. Quite different from open G.
