This is the 4 piece band I play with recorded in the basement of one of our houses. 8 track live recording using 2 Fostex MR-8 recorders in parallel. This is as it was played and sung. No overdubs or effects. I'm on dobro and there's a mandolin, banjo and acoustic guitar. Hope you like it.

This was leading up to "Shady Grove" and we just never got started. You'll hear one of us saying that we're ready when you are after around 6 minutes of jamming. This was completely improvised. I'm playing a very simple riff on the dobro but the other guys are playing some lovely mandolin and acoustic guitar. If you'd like to give us feedback, that would be great. It's a very rough recording and we are not expert musicians but I thought I'd post it up anyway. Be gentle with us! We are playing dobro, 2 acoustic guitars and a mandolin.
