I have a Dobro with that same exact fret board. Ebony with MOP. I got my Dobro from a guy who did a three way trade with some other guys. So two owners back had a custom neck added. I believe the work was done by a luthier named Phil Crump. Is there anything you can tell me about your DM-1000?
