This guitar has an amazingly "layered" tone, hearing an mp3 doesn't do it justice. You gotta play her to get the full effect, I guess.
Not shrill or dull sounding, would a "chimey metallic butter" get my point across?

I specified .030 at 1st frets (medium low?) for bottleneck and fingerstyle and once I got tuned up to open G action felt perfect to me.
setup was fine/no adjustments needed.

wanted the "old nickel" look and the Relic'd finish will mellow as it ages.
The relic'd effect is cool, this guitar's finish DOES look like its many years older than it is.

Definitely seems sturdy and durable (metal bodied guitars are like that)
Acoustic gigs would not be a problem at all.
