I have tried quite a few capos over the years from a Walworth to a Scheerhorn, a Bradley and now Charlies Sliding Capo. The Charlies is by far the easiest to use and the sound is like not even using the capo. Easy on and easy off, great sound so this is a winner for me. I like that I can easily switch the Hoipshot Doubleshot with the capo on and it sounds great in either D or G tuning. This is a winner for me.

Awesome capo – easy to adjust and does not shorten the sustain. Because it doesn't touch the neck, it's harder to adjust correctly and in tune – but this feature also makes it possible to place just right without retuning.
The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 10 is that I tend to hit it with the bar hand, since it protrudes higher from the strings than just the nut. I expect this will be resolved with practice.

Not an expert on capos, but this is a great sounding capo. Put in on my Lazy River Weissenborn and it sounds bright and very accurate.

This has got to be the best capo on the market for square neck resonator guitar. The tone is extremely good. An effortless to put on and off.
