I put this in my 1936 National Triolian. I love it. I do use a SansAmp Acoustic D/I. I've played everything from small gigs to big outdoor festivals to recording sessions with it.

Once I put proper strings on it it really sang. It was set up with lighter gauge flatwounds and still sounded okay. But, boy howdy! John Pearse's doubled the volume. Tone, to my ear, is as good as a $2000 custom I had been borrowing. No pickup, I'll be miking it when I play out.

It's a 1981 and looks brand new. Very simple, classic design.

It's a great American made instrument with the original hard case.

I think I got a very good instrument for a great price. For the money, I thought the best I could've hoped for was an import Regal. I'll probably keep her forever.
