I'm curious. Why did you change your 1926 weissenborn for a Lazy River?

Thanks so much, Fabien! I'm such a big fan, that means a lot coming from you! The 1926 was great, but I sold it for 2 reasons; I live in the Northeast United States, and the radical temperature and humidity changes caused a split in the back, just weeks after I bought it. I decided to go with something more structurally sound. I also was hoping for a deeper sound, and the 1926 a really nice tone, but not exactly what I wanted (especially for $2500!). The Lazy River is just right for me; it's built using modern techniques, while keeping the spirit of the original design. It's far more durable, I can put heavier gauge strings on it without worry. And the tone of the Mahogany/Walnut combination is just what I wanted. And the tone of my Lazy River in my video is from the day I received it; it has "opened up" nicely since then. I hope to post more soon.
