Recorded in Garage Band on a Macintosh computer. Instruments are acoustic guitar, mandolin and acoustic guitar with a raised nut (my temporary reso until I can afford one).

That raised-nut acoustic has a really sweet sound that works great on a tune like this. A resonator guitar would work of course, but it would not sound like this. Get a resonator guitar one of these days, sure, but if I were you I'd definitely keep that raised-nut acoustic in my arsenal. You mentioned on my post on FPHO that it's a maple guitar. Nothing harsh or over-bright about the tone. Seemed nicely balanced overall, and rather a unique sound. For pretty country waltzes it seems ideal... better than a reso even.
