I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching the Dobro track at Midwest Banjo Camp in 2020. MBC is a fantastic camp and has not run a full reso program for many years and I am thrilled to be able to bring it back. Having been the Dobro instructor at NashCamp for the past 2 years, I have developed some really great and road-tested teaching materials that will benefit players of al levels and touch on techniques from the early Hawaiian players up to the contemporary masters of today’s progressive styles. Naturally, I would really like to see this program do well in its first year, so I hope many of you will consider signing on. Midwest Banjo Camp is a wonderful camp and features one of the best line-up of instructors I have ever worked with. In addition to the Dobro classes, there are multiple jam sessions each day that are lead by world famous bluegrass and old-time musicians and a faculty concert each evening that will knock your socks off.

Although it will be my first year leading the Dobro track, I have been an instructor at MBC for the past 5 years and can tell you that this is one of the best traditional music camps out there. The camp dates are June 4-7, 2020 and it is held in Olivette, Michigan. Registration is now open and you can follow this link for additional information, or to sign up.

Sounds like a real winner Keith. Did you ever teach at "The Old Town School Of Folk Music?"

Seeing as how Keith has 4 posts since 7/29/2011, I'm betting you'll have to wait until 2021 for an answer...frown
