Last night in the studio, the singer said he could hear my reso 'talk' . I said to him 'that was Miss Natalie talking to you '! Sometimes when I am playing, I talk to my reso as an incentive to play better. It's a psychological thing with me which I learned from Lionel Hampton back in the '50s. It encourages me to play better. I have 5 resos and each has it's own name attached to it. I named another one 'Mother MayBelle" after the Carter family patriarch. I know Josh Graves named his reses 'Julie" , "Cliff" and : Henry". So I ask you out there, have you come up with some creative name for your reso? Let's hear from you on this subject.
Turtlebrain. Long story
Nice name . Thanks for your reply !!
Mine have been so UNcreative and predictable, but Swifty for my Beard Swift and Cindy for my MA6 with Cindy Cashdollar’s name on the fretboard.
Great names Sue ! Thanks for posting !
Blonde and Celeste
The guitar I learned on was "Bulldog". It didn't sound like a hound.
Jessie (~2014 Tall Timber [John Ridge] matches my HD28 named Woody)
