The fact is, I'd likely get more out of a one-on-one Skype lesson with Mike Witcher  and for less money, but I think this will be a fun event.

We had tickets for Jerry with John Hiatt in Santa Rosa for this August 11, but it has been rescheduled due to the Covid for the same date in 2021. Jerry and his band as the opener, then they become the backing band for Hiatt during his set. Hopefully there will be some level of normalcy by then.

So I figured what the heck, I'll sign up for the virtual workshop. At this point I'm not taking anything for granted regarding the future.

Mike Witcher’s Skype lessons are great. I’ve had 7 hour long lessons with him in the last few months. He’s a great teacher.

I don't think I could last for 7 hours.

Saw this and was tempted, but I'm just not at a level to take advantage of this.

Had an inperson lesson with Jimmy Heff over the winter, and in 10 minutes he corrected  mistakes that no virtual session would have uncovered. I've done skype lessons, and those can also be great.

Punctuation is your friend.

"7 hour-long lessons" is different from "7-hour-long lessons." angel

I'm just goofin' on Luke. I couldn't keep from posting.

To your point, Dane, years ago when I was in my late teens I worked as a news reader in radio. AP and UPI news service writers used commas very generously as a way to signal to those who were reading it aloud where to break the flow of words so as to communicate the proper meaning. I always notice that, no harm intended to anyone.

I hope those invested in the JD thing have fun and walk away with having had a good experience!
