Hello. My 1937 Model 27square neck Dobro goes on stage about 60 times live in a non Ovoid year. Along with it goes Myers double mic pickup wired to the mixer direct. This is ok just takes some transition and communication. Any recommendations for wireless on the square neck? I use Bose devices on my acoustic guitars with factory installed pre-amps. These devices work great for those guitars
I would always recommend Shure wireless systems for quality and reliability, especially since you're gigging so regularly. Fair disclosure: I used to work there.
I'm so sorry everyone. I use a Boss wireless system for acoustic guitars. WL series. Works great. Yes Shure is a great product too. We us Shure wireless at Church for Pastor and Lector. Solid. I believe the tiny batter in the Myers pickup, used on Dobro, is not enough to power the Bose transmitter perhaps
I couldn't tell if you are looking for a wireless mic setup or a wireless transmitter/receiver for pickup/ instrument level output.
If the latter, I can say that Line 6 is popular.
I had a requirement for 2 gigs. I had to be mobile on stage and all of the "front line" instruments had to be wireless. After very little research I found dozens of "cheap" knockoffs on Amazon for less than $100 and bought a "Donner" system just because it looked reasonable.
The trans/rec are two dongles (guitar and whatever), charged by USB. I checked them out for a few hours and was frankly amazed. In my case, here was my stage setup. The receiver was plugged into the input of my pedal board. The output of the board was split between front-of-house and my stage monitor amp (Loudbox).
Short story, I did the gig. Everyone was pleased. The guitar sounded great and I didn't spend a fortune for something that I rarely use.

I don't have direct experience with either the Myers pickup or the Boss wireless transmitter. The wireless transmitter should have its own battery; if the Myers box has a battery, it's for providing power to its own preamp or bias voltage for electret mics.
Looking at the Boss WL transmitter, the guitar plug is a tip-ring-sleeve (like stereo headphones) configuration. It is possible that the wiring of the Myers output jack is incompatible with the Boss TRS jack. Knowing how the Myers jack is configured internally would answer that question.
There is a Boss WL-20 support page that may help. Good luck!
