Hi everyone, I know there are tons of resources for self teaching dobro, but I think my wife might benefit from a one on one lesson, that’s how I learned all my instruments.
Anyone got a teacher recommendation? I figure it’s all over video chat these days, so geography doesn’t matter.
I saw the teacher list section, but a lot of the websites were out of date, so I was hoping to hear from people who had taken a lesson recently, and thought the teacher did a good job helping them overcome whatever their current challenge was.
Can't miss with Joe Wilson (JoeDobro). Has (IMHO) an outstanding web site and does offer private lessons. Go to dobrojoe.com and check it out for yourself.
I've been taking lessons for both guitar and Dobro from Zeb Snyder. $25/half hour or $45 for an hour, youtube Zeb Snyder music for more info. I recommend
Mike Witcher would absolutely be my first recommendation.
