I've been learning the dobro since April 2020, I have a Paul Beard Deco Phonic Model 27 which I like very much. My question: I purchased a Beard Strap shortly after, kind of got it figured out, but there is a very long part of the strap the just hangs off, over two feet, not sure what this is all about, any ideas??
Are you attaching one end around the peghead and the other (hopefully with a Schaller straplock or similar) to the bottom of the instrument? I can't imagine an extra two feet of strap. How about a picture?
