Hello Everyone,my RK resonator rustles when hit the strings, it never did, any advice? Thank you
You mean something inside buzzes?
Is your guitar a spider bridge, tri-cone or biscuit bridge model?
If it is a spider bridge model check the tension adjustment screw which couples the spider bridge to the cone. Do not over tighten that screw.
Next that take a look at the saddle(s) and the nut slots.
Could be a few other things if those don't get you fixed up.

Thank you Slidennis, I changed strings gauge and now it doesn't get rustling anymore.
Yes, it's a Spider bridge
Note to all- Check the tuner on the headstock also. I too had a rustle one time, and FINALLY identified it as the tuner. Luckily I was home and not out in public.
I found an odd source of buzzes or rustles. I shipped my Gretsch spider bridge instrument to Wisconsin for a concert. It was perfectly set up when it left. When it got to Wisconsin, it had some rattles or buzzes in it. It appears that part of the problem was that when it left Texas, where it is warm, and got to Wisconsin, where it is cold, it took a while for it to acclimate. In any case, check all the screws that are involved in holding it together, not just the spider tensioning screw. And if the tailpiece rests close to the cover plate, put some felt on the underside of the tailpiece to stop the rattling.
Thanks for all this information, since I changed the strings the rustling has not completely disappeared, now I will check screws etc
