How many of you out there curve your finger picks over your fingertips ?
How many of you use straight blade finger picks ? Or angled blades?
How many of you modify your finger picks to suit your playing style ?
I ask this because I know it is a personal preference to get the right feeling when you are playing.
Let's hear from you out there on this subject ! and...Many thanks for your replies !
Hi Tom. I have every kind of pick made and always struggled for the right finger pick. Then I found the Landis finger picks. The best picks I ever tried. The shape they come is perfect. I play pedal steel and Dobro. They have little ridges or bumps if you will on the inside they really grip your finger. A little expensive, but well worth the investment. I found them a little awkward at first because they run a little taller on your finger. But now I couldn`t go back.
I’m bend my finger picks just abt from where the are at when I buy them new to halfway to the finger tip. Dunlop .025
Acri stainless. Full metal jackets - make you look like Freddy Krueger. Curved blades, but slightly twisted on the fingers so the tips are slightly toward the thumb - middle finger a bit less than the index. It's a good idea to mark (nail polish is great) so that they always go on the same finger.
