Just saw this on BHO and had to share. A very young Johnny Cash plays a number while Lester and Earl and the Foggy Mt Boys play some cards. They play Salt Dog Blues when Johnny is done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arCypiTi260

In Dobro Roots by Steve Toth he shows a few 1930s Dobros with poinsettia coverplates. He bought this circa 1936 Model 37 in the 1970s and used it on a solo recording.  He wrote "Little did we know at the time that the poinsettia coverplates were usually on the cheaper models."  That revelation might have later come from Bobby Wolfe.

I had an old model 37 that had the poinsettia coverlate too. Still have it
