Just a couple of pictures of the Amazon case and my gear I refered to earlier, it works perfect for me. The capo is kept in a pocket that is part of my strap next to my right shoulder (custom made), always handy if I need it (got tired of digging it out of my pants pocket on stage). FYI: I have used this Leno capo for 30 years and have never lost it yet.

Thanks for the tip! I bought one of these based on your post. I already had a storage system for my main gear, but I carry a spare set of picks and bar that fit nicely in this handy pouch. It stashes perfectly in my case compartment. Yep, $13. Cheap but effective.

This is how I carry my picks / bars around. In my Reso case.
The White stuff is that hard packing foam. It doesn't flake everywhere like polystyrene and is easy to cut with a bread knife and hobby blade.
The lid of this compartment comes down and holds everything tight.
If anyone doesn't know what a Roadie 3 tuner is. I think it is one of the best things I have bought.
I have 12 ukes (4 and 8 strings / tenor and baritones) 13 Electric and acoustic guitars a reso and a couple of lap steels. THAT is a lot of tuning.. The Roadie 3 has a battery inside that is charged via USB.
It connects to a tablet app (BT) in which I set up the tunings for all my instruments. For the Reso tuning I have set up open G (GBDGBD) where the B's I have set them at -7 cents and the rest to zero. Then all I do is turn it on and put the winder part (right end as shown in photo) over the tuning pegs. It starts with G2 and it slightly winds the string down then up to the set pitch and it beeps and vibrates and then move on to the next B2 etc. Normally it would take me <10 secs to tune reso.
Sorry if the Roadie part was teaching you to suck eggs but I hope it was useful for some
I use a spring top purse, which is nicely compact and secure, and opens with one hand. A Charlie's capo will fit in as well, but it's a bit tight and I very rarely use it so I carry it separately. I've never had a problem with scratching or denting the bar, it's stainless steel and much harder than the pick material.
A while back, a friend of mine gave me a plastic case designed for holding pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes. It fit my bar and picks perfectly.
I don't know if this would be available in your area or not, but if you have a dispensary nearby, it wouldn't hurt to look.
I used to use an M&M minis container, but they changed the specs and cheapened the plastic.
I know we beat this subject to death but.... I found a nice wood box on Amazon for $10 added $1 worth of foam and $1 for the magnetic latches and made a nice little bar/capo/pick storage case. I know its not a Slyde but for the money I think its pretty good.
I just grab what's handy. A sandwich bag will do. Or the plastic bag sliced bread comes in. Or the guitar case compartment. Cigar boxers are classy. So are paint boxes.
I used a cheap plastic fish hook case for a while. Don't know what happened to it. I often use a little zipper bag I found somewhere. I liked because it's red, so it's easy to find.
Not a classy guy.

I had what looked like an old lady's change purse with a zipper from Mr. Benoit that I used to see at IBMA every year and it had his name emblazoned on it. It was perfect for picks, bar, and capo. I was playing at an old folks home and I set it on my guitar case while playing. Turns out some little old lady thought it was the perfect change purse and stole it. I've been crushed ever since and haven't had the heart to replace it.
Hi
I use former cartridge pouches of the French colonial army. The regular model is made of tin but the colonial model is made of leather because of the humidity in "those" countries. On one side I put my bar, picks and Walwoth capo separated and protected in chewing-gum tubes. In the second pouch: cigarettes ("Gauloises", what else? I'm French), lighter and a 20 euro bill for the thirst. When I play, I push them towards my bum.

This is what I use:
Seller is on etsy and when I purchased, price included a personal monograph (your initials). I think I paid $13. Has worked great for me and is quality leather and hand made.
Cheers,
Joe
I know Markinsonoma will remember him, but Art Nefarious from the old Jerry Douglas Forum gave me a case, it was for women to travel with jewelry that is perfect, been using tor many years, Center has a round piece that was for rings and does a great job for picks, and on the sides, zippered compartments, I guess for bracelets? perfect for Charley Capo on one side and steel on the other.
Fits nicely in the little compartment on my case.
Baggelini is the maker, but this shows how well it works, Room for more stuff.
Art has since passed away, b ut I'll always remember him when I pull this out.

Seems a number of us were recipients of these bags from Art. Very cool and generous guy, but his issues. I hope he is now at peace.
First time we met, he rode his motorcycle from home to where I was in Yellowstone NP. He spent the nigth then next day I escorted him up to one of the passes on my bike. I guess that winter he flw down to 'FL-Bobs' place in St Pete area and us and wived all went to dinner. That summer he and FL Bob went to Grey Fox fest, where I used to go and sent me a col chambray shirt with the logo. Just a week ago I had to finally retire the shirt, but I cut out the logo to sew onto its replacement. We all met on the JBB.
Picks go into a size large child proof pill bottle .
Those go into a 6 inch- ish drawstring pouch , along with bars , several clip on tuners , and the external 9V battery harness for the graphic equalizer pedal for the LS .
When I'm dual wielding , the pouch goes in cardboard box that carries the instrument cables , wall adapter cards for primary battery powered amp , 2 pedals ( usual use just one ) , and smaller backup battery powered amp . If going somewhere Reso Only , the pouch is carried loose , in same hand as the folding A Frame instrument stand .
I found these nice leather "coin pouches" on etsy. They cost about $13, are hand made, and include a monogram for that price. Here's a link to the etsy page where I bought this:
Leather coin pouch - I use for picks, bar, capo and tuner
I prefer leather to plastic, just my thing. These fit in the storage box under the neck. Makes it easy to change guitars; just grab this and put it into the other guitar case. Monogram is nice to identify it as yours, too.
Cheers,
Joe
