Hi . When I bought my 09 Beard from an old local guy, he also gave me a few lessons. I got both Rob Ickes VCR lessons. But the pamphlet or tabs weren`t included. Was wondering how to get them. I`m on tape 2 and he was talking about the Blues scale.

You should contact Homespun. It's been years of course since they have produced anything on a VHS tape, but they also no longer even produce any new lessons on DVD - everything is a download. I'm on their weekly mailing list and occasionally they still have  DVDs of certain titles for sale that have been sitting in thei warehouse, but anything new in the past few years is download only, and any tab or booklet is a PDF.

The point being if you let them know you have the VCR version but the booklet is missing, perhaps they can email it to you as a PDF.

Hey Thanks, Will do that. I went and watched the tape further and Rob does explain it a little slower and I think I got the bulk of it. But that's a good idea to contact Homespun tapes. Thanks for the reply.

David, no idea if you have heard back from Homespun, but in the meantime here are the scales Rob teaches in Part 2 of his Homespun course.

I am currently without a working computer so I scanned with my iPhone. Not the greatest - but should be readable.

By the way, you referred to diatonic scales in your title. I'm thinking you actually  mean pentatonic scales.  I have a feeling that Rob doesn't  consciously think about the diatonic scale or use the term very often - if at all.

Ahh thank you so much Mark. Exactly what I was looking for. I find scale practice real hard , but I know I have to . Really appreciate it.
