If you are in the market for a strap, I can't recommend Bobby Poff highly enough. Not only does he produce the highest quality and (IMHO) best looking straps, he stands behind his product in a way that very few dealers do. Bought my Chestnut swivel strap over seven years ago and after lots of use, the swivel parted. Planned to use some nylon thread to tie the two pieces together, serviceable but ugly. Just out of curiosity I sent an email to Bobby asking if he could repair it. His immediate response was - "send it to me and I'll repair it and return it to you AT NO CHARGE because I stand behind my product." Once he had the strap, he immediately contacted me to discuss the repair. I asked that he join the two pieces without a swivel and he did so beautifully. During the repair process, he contacted me more than once to be sure that I was going to be satisfied and to check length and other details. Got the strap back today and not only did he repair the strap, he replaced both end connector pieces because he thought they needed it. All of this at no cost to me - he wouldn't even let me pay the return postage. Color me one very satisfied customer.

His straps are the best available and worth every penny. I just purchased my second one a couple months ago. I told him to design it the way he thinks it would look great, and I would go with his suggestion. The end result is beautiful.
Glad to hear Bobby is still at it. He kinda goes off the radar at times. Probably quite a few of us on this forum with his beautiful straps.
His tooling is gorgeous—When I ordered mine, I couldn’t figure out what to have engraved/tooled onto it, and he almost seemed bummed that I ordered it plain. I still haven’t decided what to have on it—but would like to send it back to him someday for some customization. I’m getting up there in years, and I suppose so is he.

The old Poff site has been gone for a few years. Contact info on the one below - though they don't seem to be keeping up with it showing everything as sold out - unless that is - everything is in fact literally sold out.
